The original kitset drawers had reached the end of their life & were no longer operating reliably by falling off the runners.

Cabinet Queen completely replaced the drawer systems in both bathroom vanities, upgrading them to genuine Blum TANDEMBOX soft-closing drawers for superior strength, performance and everyday functionality.
DRAWER SYSTEM UPGRADE - BEFORE & AFTER

Existing metal non soft-close drawers upgraded to premium BLUM soft-closing drawer systems — modernising a lower-end kitset vanity with smoother operation and a higher-end finish.
DRAWER REPAIR – BEFORE & AFTER

This drawer had completely pulled apart, leaving the original 13mm chipboard damaged around the dowel joints.
​
Cabinet Queen came to the rescue, making a replacement back, carefully reinforcing and screwing together the remaining original drawer material, and reinstalling the drawer front using stronger, more suitable screws.
​
The repaired drawer was then reinstalled and realigned, restoring it to full working order.
DRAWER REPAIR - BEFORE & AFTER
A benchtop “upgrade” caused the entire base unit to pull apart by approximately 10mm across the width, resulting in 2 x drawers falling out of their runners.
Cabinet Queen came to the rescue — rebuilding the cabinet unit, then reinstalling and realigning both drawers back to full working order.

Cabinet Queen completed the following upgrades:

25mm in width, as it was not a standard 600mm appliance.
This resulted in large visible gaps surrounding the appliance area.

TOE KICK INSTALLATIONS
TOE KICK INSTALLATION: BEFORE & AFTER
Following the installation of new flooring, the tiled toe kicks were removed, leaving the raw MDF framing exposed.
New colour-matched toe kicks were then installed to give the kitchen a clean and complete finish.
​
The pantry door was left off because new hinges were required. It has now been reinforced and reinstalled, allowing it to operate at full capacity again.
​
The kitchen was then siliconed to the new flooring now protecting the new toe kicks for years to come.
